NWA and an argument against quick release bracelets
I’ve been intrigued with the idea of a pointer date complication for a while, and have been looking at Farer’s field watches and the Oris Big Crown Pointer Dates, I tried on the Oris and I’m glad I went with this, as it just fits better.
Edit: The issue with the bracelet is that the spring barsticks out past the side of the endlink and because of the quick release pusher there’s no way to draw it in enough to set the bracelet in.

What’s the argument against quick release bracelets?
I bought the Farer field watch, but ended up returning it. The date hand just stood out too much for me IRL and I found it distracting. But it wore really nicely, and it’s a great watch, if that doesn’t bother you. I really like how Farer included 3 strap options in the box. And their customer service for the return was excellent.

Farer includes all three straps - bracelet, leather, and nylon - in the box, so you don’t have to choose 😉

Yeah as @RT_19X said the watch comes with the leather strap, NATO and bracelet, but my bracelet has an issue as I’ve edited into the main post, otherwise I’d have it on the bracelet.

I was originally wanting one of the white dialed versions, but they said that one’s been permanently discontinued, so I’m not sure. Good luck though.

Sorry ran out of time before posting, the quick release pusher on this bracelet is preventing me from pulling in the spring bar enough so I can’t use the bracelet. I’ve been in touch with Farer so it’ll hopefully get sorted.

Agreed and other than my issue with the spring bar on one of the bracelet enslinks all the bands seem to be great.
I have the exmoor and never got along with the bracelet. I went to a chunky Barton leather and never looked back.

I managed to unscrew the pushers so got the bracelet on and so far I’m pretty happy with it. We’ll have to see how it goes.
