#NBA - New Bracelet Alert for the Alpinist
I feel like bracelets on Alpinists can be a polarising topic. It's great on leather but I love having a bracelet on watches so I finally bit the bullet, and it feels like an #nwa !
Went back and forth on the bracelet type and finally settled on this oyster style from Miltat (Strapcode). I wanted female end links and the brushing tones down the polishing on the case. Day 1, and I am loving it so far!

Great watch and thay bracelet fits it so well. I also suggest trying rice bracelet looks great on it
Looks great on the bracelet Kully. I do prefer mine on the single pass nato most of the time. Here’s a shot on the bracelet. One of my favorite watches.

I think they look much better with a bracelet! They are already a beautiful watch but the bracelet makes it look far more expensive!
I like it better on the bracelet but thats my MO i like everything on stainless bracelets.

The blue dial is really something! Single pass straps are the closest I get to natos, it's not really my thing, but the Alpinist does look great on them.

How is the miltat clasp? I was considering this bracelet, but ended up purchasing the Uncle Seiko one.

Yours looks great on the bracelet too Matt! The Miltat clasp is pretty good. It's milled and feels robust - I just wish it had some on-the-fly micro adjusts!
I did look at Uncle, but there was no oyster for the Alpinist and I wasn't sold on the president style. I'll be going to Uncle Seiko for a bracelet in the near future though!

Speaking from owning both, the Miltat wins in build quality, however it's alot bulkier and the clasp is comically huge. The Uncle seiko, while not badly built, is a step down from Strapcode, however USs bracelets are aesthecially much better IMO. Just having that nice taper is a win for me.

The uncle Seiko president is great!

Great to have that other perspective too! I didn't find the Miltat clasp too bed but I had heard about the clasps on some of the other Strapcode bracelet being overly large. Definitely going to be picking up an US in the near future though.
I have a President-style from Uncle. I like it, but I think the Oyster-style makes it look more tooly.

Hope you're enjoying it! Bracelets are definitely the one for the Alpinist. Yeah the tooly vibes are what I was going for with the brushed oyster.

Yes I need to get around and buy a rubber one. It has 200 meter resistance for a reason 😬
