SOTC - ADVICE

Looking to add a versatile watch to the collection. Something business casual yet won’t look out of place with a suit. Something ideally under 2k. Where should I go with the collection? Any advice is helpful

I paid £1300 for my early Quartz Aqua Terra, highly recommended 👍🏼

·

Formex Essence 39 is a great choice

Favorite suggestion so far. Thought about this one myself!

Solid suggestion!

Look into nomos if you haven’t.

The tangente and club are under 2k around 1.5k usd. I used to have the tangente but sold it because it was too dressy for me. Just got the club and love it! Mix of dressy and casual.

Christopher Ward - the twelve. Well inside your budget and feels likes it’s far more.

You can get the Longines(at a discount) and an Erebus Ascent!!

·

Looking good !!!

·

Tudor datejust or daydate 36 that was discontinued a few years ago. Perhaps a bit above $2k in some cases yet would compliment your BB54 well.

·

I would recommend a Nivada Antarctic

·

Three options for you:

  • Oris Big Crown Pointer Date (personal preference is the slightly smaller cervo volante range)

  • Junghans Max Bill Automatic: classic, clean and German

  • Christopher Ward: C63 Sealander

·

On the Micro Brand Side #venezianico

On other brands #longines many models below 2K

Another option is a pre-owned #breitling

·

Christopher Ward sealander or sealander gmt is always a good choice. Very versatile and would compliment your current collection very well

·

I had a similar criteria and the Tissot telemeter 1938 was what I landed on, despite the busy dial. I've gone with the white dial, but the black and gilt is equally beautiful. If you can find a pre-owned in your area it may be even below 1500.

I'm waiting for mine to be delivered, images from ablogtowatch.

Check out the Monta Noble, i don’t personally own one but they look solid. Or maen watches. Some have sellitas sw200-1 and great vintage design that would go well in your collection. Check out the brooklyn chronograph (36mm).

Also, where are those natos from? (The ones in the seiko and the orange one)

Longines Legend Diver.

·

Boring suggestion: seiko alpinist, or that legend diver above.

For around that price you can find some killer breitlings on the preowned market

Rado integral diamond, or Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart. I own both and they tick the boxes.

·

Nomos!!

·

I love the gold Casio 👌🏽🔥

·

I suggest the Grand Seiko sbgp013, around £1500 to £1800 used.

Just stopped by to compliment your Hamilton ❤️

Nice five piece hunga busta!👌

·

Longines heritage collection, I think it is a dressier piece but if it fits your style, highly recommend. never owned one so I dont have an opinon other than it looks

·

One of my favorite suggestions!
