Airport purchase
I’ve had my eyes on the Murph for a few months. Stopped at a watch shop (Time to Fly) in PHL airport yesterday. They had a good selection, offered a discount, and were an Hamilton AD. Decided to pull the trigger. I typically don’t impulse buy like this but for some reason this felt right. I was in Philly for the NCAA lacrosse championships with my son and his friend. Good way to remember the trip!
Loving it so far. Uncle Straps is out of the bracelet right now but I will be ordering that when it’s back in stock. I do like the look of the Hamilton leather strap, I’m just more of a bracelet fan.

Great Murph. The stock strap isn't great, though mine is on it at the moment. Might also check out the bracelet.

This is one of my favorite watches. There’s really not much I’d change. I didn’t like the standard leather strap it came on either and prefer one of the two uncle straps. I purchased both their oyster style (senator) and jubilee type (executive). The fit and finish of these bracelets is quite good.

Hamilton knows how to design a field watch. Apart from lume... Someone from Hamilton needs to go undercover as an intern in the factory that makes dials for Cronos, San Martin etc...

No specific rooting interest. I was just there to watch some good lax. I like UVa the most out of the four but they got killed 😂

Congrats! That's a safe impulse buy, for sure. That watch could outlast many others in a collection in terms of staying power.
