Interesting Longines Chronograph on eBay - check out the case.
Just a short post for anyone who's a fan of the Longines Avi Big-Eye.
This vintage Longines Tavannes chronograph turned up on eBay recently.
It's quite an uncommon Longines reference as it is - certainly the first one I've seen come to market, but more interesting than that is the case.
You'll recognise that it's exactly the same case design as the Avigation Big-Eye, the oversized pump pushers and crown are also the same. No doubt you'll also know that that watch is a re-issue of what's believed to be a piece unique that was sent in to Longines for service by its current owner.
It's the first time I've seen Longines use this case on a watch other than the Big-Eye so I thought I'd share.

Beautiful, but I don’t see any reference to Longines in the eBay post. Am I missing it?
