Left or right...

I'm sure most will answer A, but I'm wondering about handedness and watch wearing preferences. Usually people wear their watches on their non-dominant hand, but I've seen exceptions. Let's see what WC's watch-wearing preferences are!

Interesting! I thought of that possibility but I could only put four options. :)

·

I’m right handed wore watch my right wrist for many years then all of a sudden switched to left for no reason now it’s on my left. I think it’s what you feel most comfortable with I am ambidextrous I guess maybe that’s why good luck.

Why?

Because I scratch my watches to Hell wearing them on my dominant hand. Can't change it now though. Was always told as a kid I should be wearing a watch on my left. Damn right hand dominant society.

Ah. Never too late to try to change!

I tried. Far too weird.

Born a natural lefty switched at birth because my paternal grandmother was superstitious considered left handed persons to be both unlucky and evil. I can add that the word sinister is derived from the Latin sinestra for left.

·

Wow 3% my lowest score ever

·

I wear different watches on different wrists. Depends which looks better on left or right.

My mom was the same way.

Yep! Etymology is fascinating!

I hear you. Lefty here and had to force watches onto the right wrist. Now

I can’t go back to the left. Ironic that my

left wrist is a bit larger than right, and would accommodate more sizes.

Mix handed (cross dominant) watch on right wrist

This :)

·

Right-handed, watch on the right. The watch feels safer on the dominant hand as I'm more conscious of its presence. Wearing it on the left would be like wearing it on the ankle.

·

I seem to remember a thread like this a while back. Where the combined intellect of WC concluded: Don't wear your watch on your butt-wiping arm.

·

I am a boring right-handed left-wearer. One of my vintages I wear on my right though. Reason: the (elastic) bracelet is too loose, and if you've ever seen someone adjusting those...

·

Right Handed.

Watch on left wrist, Smartwatch on right wrist.

….. but only at home where no one can see this :)

Look up the painting "Evžen Omegin" (Eugene Omegin) by the banjo player Ivan Mládek. 😀

And "dexterity" comes from the other side. Just as the word "right" being the opposite to "wrong". And in Czech, being "left" or "having both left hands" means clumsiness, "hands going left" means laziness.

We live in a world of superstition amd bigotry...

·

Lefty. I started left (because that was my dominant hand), switched to right some years later (because of comfort), stuck to right ever since (because it's not my dominant hand). I occasionally switch for comfort.

·

I’ll go with “E” - for ‘Eccentric’ . 😎 I’m a Double Wrist Stack fanático at heart. Which watch am I primarily focused on? It depends on which way my head is turned, what I’m doing in the moment, and how my focus gets distracted by the gesturing of my hands as I talk. 🤫🤭

·

When I feel cheeky I wear one on each wrist haha, but I'm right handed and left wrist mainly

I was always told left was for men, right was for women

awesome

Oh. I was just always told left was the correct side.
