Living in the land of the porch pirates, a.) see if you can get them to require a signature. b.) doorbell cameras c.) a geriatric boxer who can distinguish the sound of a diesel engine and assumes anyone who comes in the yard wants to pet him, so he starts barking before the driver even gets out of the truck.

We both work from home offices so my wife knows. That and a Ring device on the front door so I have to “negotiate” my watch purchases against her handbags and shoe purchases.

I've been at it so long my other half doesn't much care anymore. The general consensus is that I am uncontrollable at this point in life.

Living alone really has some great advantages.

These things always make me laugh. I was married at one time or two times or three times before I got where I am now. I still have a significant other but we live in different homes and don't share expenses so there is just none of this anymore and no I don't miss it. lol
