Parnsrpe Willard homage
Arrived today. Case finish is good. Crystal is a surprise as it's bevelled, actually makes a pleasant change. Short end of the second hand carries a turtle, which again actually looks good.
Dial colour is pleasing to my eye.
Lume on hands is a different colour to the indices, doesn't bother me.Quick check of the lume is good.
Chapter ring is medium blue. The bevel on the crystal makes the indices interesting, as it gives a reflection, so making the indices look longer and extend onto the chapter ring.
The bezel however has no lume, and looks to be just painted.
All in all, my initials impressions for £51 are good.
CONTROVERSY ALERT
So as quality is defined as "meeting or exceeding customer expectations" for £51 it has at the least met mine. 😊😁
Slightly eccentric, wicked sense of humour. Self confessed watch cheapskate, who tinkers with watches. Love motorbikes, to date, I've ridden about 250,000 miles, 113,000 of which are on my BMW 1150GS....

It was running at plus 15 seconds face up. Since adjusted to plus 5 seconds face up, zero seconds crown down. 😁
For me a watch has to be pleasing to the eye no matter how low the price is. Nice pick up, this one has much that is eye pleasing.👍
