An amazing thing happened today, my daughters tortoise 'Thornton' went missing about 6 months ago in the garden, we had given him up as lost forever. But as the sun was shining today she found him basking in the sunrays on the lawn! We have him booked in with the vet tomorrow but although he's a bit scruffy, he appears fit and well. I've spent the afternoon building him a new vivarium as we got rid of his old one. 🐢

He was enjoying his little slow adventure away from the fam😍 in the 6 month time he got to look over every detail of the garden, only if he could speak about all the journey's he went on, and the friends he met, amazing!! 🙏

We couldn't work out how he could have got out, so we now presume he got under the cabin and buried himself and hibernated. He's now getting air tagged 😂

He's now got a two story home with a ramp up the the first floor. Several types of bedding material and constant stairs of sheer amazement 😁
