Bare the soul of your oldest Eco-Drive so we may witness a watch that has logged so many light-powered years trickling from its capacitor to its step motor! Demonstrate your watch’s unfailing resolve and stalwart dependability in displaying the right time…every time…for you as you have treaded deeply into the muddy road of its entropic ruts!
I present to you my own Eco-Drive I bought February, 2004. To this day, it ticks-away…without fail or falter…in its quest of immortality! Oh praise the Citizen angels above…as the scented breeze from their beating wings provide the blessed oxygen our souls need in our quest of a most perfect watch! We pray this in great humility…and to the very bowels of our wretched constitutions!
Alright…enough of that nonsense!Show us your old Eco-Drive that has not let you down!

This is my Citizen Promaster AV0030-51A, from December 2009.
It's never been serviced and it has never stopped ticking

I love that watch and almost bought one! I was selling jewelry at the time and our store had that exact model in our showcase.

That is awesome! Great orange dial. Its battle scars definitely show your affinity for it!

I wore it for 10 of my 21 years in the Army. 👍

That’s fantastic!
Here is my Citizen Eco-Drive! I don't remember when I bought it, but it was probably more than 14 years ago!

Titanium — nice! I love the over-sized numerals.

Much obliged, good sir!
These are sweet
Not a eco drive, but this thing is from 2002 and still running. Prg-50 Protrek
That is a gorgeous looking citizen. I love the rectangular shape and the fact that it’s a perpetual calendar, so cool. You’ve kept it in pristine condition!

Casio quality for sure!

That is very kind of you to say!
Probably from the 1990s - similar to yours!
Oh yeah…just like it but a round case.
It's not an eco-drive nor even a Citizen, but this CASIO Tough Solar ProTrek has been with me for close to 13-14 years, it works just fine and keeps charge very well.
And I still struggle with setting the date or other functions.
Oh man…that’s a great watch! From Casio’s golden age.
I think there’s a way to reset the hand to 0. I’d go on-line and search the manual using your reference number.
Usually it's to pull the crown out to setting mode and press the chrono pushers.
I can't remember exactly, but it should be 20 years now.
2008 (may be a bit earlier but I lost track)

Functional and readable.

Looks nice with the strap!
Can't set date on this thing anymore 🤪
Still love it though. It's over 21 years old
Still ticking, the first Eco Drive I bought back in the early 2000's. Fancy moon phase.
This one is probably the oldestr however. Bought on sale at TJX many years ago it has perforations in the dial which I assume let light in. I think this is probably a n early model of Eco Drive.

Beautiful! That bracelet design is total early 2000’s for sure! Does the date wheel hang up or something?
Navihawk I presume?

Your tank style must be from the same design batch as mine. Love the moonphase!
Bought this in 2006, you can see the accumulated dust in the band.
Navihawk I presume?
Indeed. Love it...
