Actually yes I did know that and we're also meant to be able to distinguish more shades of green than other colours. But the green Seiko used on the Alpinist is a beautiful, rich green. I want more green dials in my collection!

Somehow the green on this alpinist is so soothing! It certainly has a calming factor. Especially the bouncing of light on that green dial and golden hands/markers 💚

Truly love my og Alpinist. Didn’t know green had that sort of affect, that’s probably why I’m so drawn to green and blue dials.

Unfortunately the Scots can’t lay claim to this, it’s the Japanese and they call it, ‘shinrin yoku’.
