CWC RN Diver - The Grey NATO Special Edition in Titanium
Holy shit.
CWC is itching closer and closer to my actual dream watch.
I'm a bit late to the party, but I was trawling through the forums to find the British Military watch company has partnered with The Grey NATO (TGN) podcast. Apparently, this is a grade 5 titanium case with FXD lugs, 20mm lug spacing, 41.5mm case, 12mm thickness, 12-hour bezel, an ETA F06.402 HAQ, AR sapphire, X1-C3 Super-LumiNova - and comes on a grey NATO. I believe this is a limited run only available for TGN slack support crew members. My only hope is they release a similar version with a day/date and quartz movement. I'd be happy too if this released in a matt/polished steel!

CVC watches, are they really worth the price?
Sadly I would agree with @Spy_Spy, production costs being what they are, I don't know if most would be willing to pay the premium for the materials, present company excluded.

It looks like the bezel insert is the only really different thing compared to their quartz, steel RN divers. Maybe you should email Silvermans and ask them if they could put that bezel insert in their RN diver/quarts day date and see what they say🙂

I did ask them a while back when the SeaFalcon Chronograph came out and they said they were slightly different dimensions to interchange.
But now they've created this, I might give it another nudge!

Yes you are probably right, the chances of it being a direct swap is quite small. But worth a try!
I’ve been to Silvermans and the guys there are absolutely great. I bought some NATO’s, tried on the RN diver and it was really quite hard to leave the place without it. It’s a very cool watch.
I’m a fan of this! I would love a regular run of these with a day/date and a traveler’s bezel. Even if it isn’t Ti it’ll still be light.
CVC watches, are they really worth the price?
I used to think it wasn’t but I really wanted their RN Diver 300 so bit the bullet and got it. I’d say they definitely are. Lume ks great, build quality is great, and matches with most straps! I just wish they had the crows foot MoD logo in the front.

So FYI, this isn't really supposed to be for public consumption. I will say, that they aren't tooling up for a new case type, just to not make something similar at some point in the future, but of course it won't be exactly like this.

Makes sense. Honestly, I'd just be happy with the standard RN Diver Day/Date in Steel (Mat Top/Polished Sides) with a 12 hour bezel.

Fingers crossed they don't change it too much. Some of their replies suggest they're releasing a high-accuracy quartz version but with a countdown bezel instead of the 12-hour. That'll be a shame, as personally I'd find more use for the 12-hour. Either way, I hope I release with a day-date.
So positives for me is the movement, HAQ is great, and grade 5 titanium big tick. Other than that I’m not a fan of the bezel, the typeface for me looks out of place, lack of quartz text or anything there doesn’t look right and also I’m not sure about the red seconds pip but that one is super minor.
