Microbrands You Should Know...from A to Z - Part 4 😉
Looks like Jody's been reading my posts here on the Crunch over the past couple of weeks and decided to make a video about microbrands.
So, instead of working hard to draft Part 4 (I will do that work and call it Part 5), I thought I would just share Jody's video that dropped today which does pretty much what my posts have done...only his is more interesting, entertaining, and full of great audio-visual content...

To be fair...Jody called them a "Zombie" brand...a brand that went BK and was resurrected.
I personally don't like the name "Zombie" brand and I also don't consider them "microbrands" since they are trading on a brand name that has a history, goodwill and classic designs.
So I generally leave the following out of the microbrand definition, though CB @AllTheWatches includes them,...

Youtube influencer thing. Basically, make a surprised/angry/whathaveyous faces for a thumbnail and it'll help with engagement.

Well done, I wouldn’t count them as far as “micro” but for the sake of the tournament, people get upset with their exclusion, so include a few each year. Many are part of a consortium, others are acting more like traditional micros.
Then there are brands like Zelos. Where do we count them now? To me, once a brand starts making watches for other brands or YouTubers are they now more of a private label?

Your posts are better and I enjoy reading them more than I enjoy Jody.
But, you worked crazy hard and deserve a break. So while I won’t watch him, I’m glad your taking a break from this immense project!!
