How would you like your only diver?

If you only had one diver, what style would you go for?

Fit for purpose … if I can only have one!

Most regular divers are a bit too thick to be dressy.

Yes, but if their bezel edge is below 40 mm diameter and 12,5 mm thickness, they can get there.

I wondered whether to use "flashy" or "blingy" instead, but I don't like those words.

Vintage style & retro are the same thing.

A real vintage like this 1960s Submariner 5512.

I like a modern look. New materials such as titanium with bold colors. My two dedicated divers that I have specifically for swimming are titanium in hues of blue and green...

Ive had my eye on a used sinn U50, marathon S&R and seiko tuna’s for a min. I think they the epitome of cool tool watches and are most interesting. Closley behind those I like the modern/sporty divers.I like the formex reef for its modern sporty nature. Lastley now least of what im leaning to behind the others ive had a Vear for about 4 years with patina lume thats has a retro vibe to it.

Nothing wrong with flashy and blingy words. At this point of time we know exactly what those words means LOL.

Blingy LOL (I'm actually surprised they put loose diamonds on a dive watch)

E: all of them

I happen to have only one diver: a Seestern S434 aka GO SeaQ homage. If I upgrade to something that's not a homage, it'll most probably be a Venezianico Nereide Tungsteno 39, so my vote is for dressy. I'm not going to dive with it anyway...

Agghh too hard buuuttt only ONE.... proper tool. Quartz or solar quartz, probably Seiko or Citizen or SeL.

If I could only have one it would be this one; my Vero Open Water. I think this color is the “Burnside”. I love the modern take on a classic mold. It’s thin and very capable. The more I wear it the more I am enjoying it’s modern aesthetic.

I know, I was asking just for clarity. :) It's a beautiful watch.

I prefer the retro look for dive watches, however, I’d go for a tool as a beater
