Pretty confident it's a personality trait. I was destined to collect watches. But I love the legacy of watches. If taken care of they will outlive all of us.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Proper watch: Hamilton khaki king
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
You have to buy and try to a certain extent, but it's exhausting. Tie as many watches to memories as you can so you will hold onto them. There's always another new watch to pursue, but when you make memories with the ones you have, there's only so many watches that are truly yours. Buy and try until you have a grasp on what you like, then slowly but surely selectively cultivate a collection.
