I own a Gevril watch, which I purchased for around $900.00. It is a Model 4952B Wall Street GMT. It has a ceramic bezel, screw down crown, a date magnified lens at 3:00 O’clock. It is built around a Sellita SW330 movement, which means it is not a “travelers GMT”.

Everyone says it’s a Rolex GMT Master knock off. Little do they know that Rolex used the design of the Glycine Airman, which had been introduced to the aviation community in 1953 as the design basis for the GMT Master. So, is the GMT Master a “knock off” of the Airman? I keep telling people if you want true aviation history in wrist watches you need to shop Longines.

I would say the watch is a great buy at around $1000.00. However, I do not understand their Web page pricing. A good source for the watch is Nordstrom Rack.
