LOGOS COUNT

THIS IS FOR GOOD LOGOS PLEASE

bad logos on the way

Somebody here in the Crunch suggested that I have an ugly logo competition.

I think it’s nicer to admire logos that look good. I am very sorry for the blurry images. This is not a list of logos that I own, mostly. These are a few that I think work well. Your thoughts are really the whole point of this post. Do logos affect your purchases?

So, a very incomplete list. Which do you like?

·

Yes, the logo is as much a design element as the shape/size/placement of the crown. The logo might cause me to seriously reconsider buying a timepiece. Pre-TAG era Heuer is the best imho along with Omega. Also, I absolutely LOVE the Eterna logo with the 5 bearings.

Jealous of your clean images!

I agree about the importance of the logo. I won’t buy a watch that has an ugly or obtrusive logo. Grand Seiko just blows it for me by having both a big GS and the darned Grand Seiko written across those beautiful dials. Idiots! And don’t get me started on those ugly indented power reserve indicators… Such a pity.

·

I agree with you, a good logo is somewhat important, it is a massive part of a watchs' aesthetic and definitely affects purchases.

Have a good evening 👍

I really like the Phoibos one.

·

Dislike Edifice

The worst logo has to be Christoper Ward both now and before

·

We’re not allowed to enter the AliExpress brands right? Like too easy? :)

Someone somewhere (Reddit?) mentioned that the Tudor shield logo looks like an emoji and now I can unsee it

·

I’m very much one of those people who can be put off by a name or brand logo! This is Mainly with micro brands or Ali express watches though!

Oh, no. If you think they’re GOOD, why not? The lousy logos are for another thread, and I’ll get better images then, I hope. Cheers!

I does, too. Looks like a warrior. You know, that might be on purpose!

The Heuer is in the “Possible Best Logo” category.

Well maybe i am an old classic man🤔

Logos are part of the design, so if I think a logo is ugly and is on display in a watch I don't buy it.

That’s why these are impossible. But I really love, love, love that cream dial. But all that branding? Oh no! I’m sad about it.

I get it! There’s no problem with your taste as far as I’m concerned. I’m sure we’d agree on an awful lot more regarding watches. Your interest in Chopard for one thing! Here’s a beautiful one I have on my phone.
