Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I got into collecting watches after I bought my first TAG Heuer. I couldn't afford much back then, but after buying a Kirium quartz, I immediately had my sights set on a Carrera and that's when the sickness started.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Growing up in Australia and close to the beach, surf culture played a big part in my youth and my first watch was actually a Rip Curl branded quartz diver with 100m WR.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy watches that suit your lifestyle. Whilst it's nice to have lots of variety in your collection, ultimately if a watch doesn't suit your lifestyle you won't wear it much and watches are made to be worn!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
A recent purchase of mine was a Tzoumy pentagonal watch. Their a new Swiss brand and I like that they are making something a bit different.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Heuer Monaco ref CAW211P.FC6356 It's just an iconic watch and I love the design.
