Long admired them but they seem to produce only v large watches so not really anything there for me to really want to buy. Can see the appeal though for larger wrists.

You are wrong my friend.This is 40 mm only, they are coming out with lot of 40 mm watches now
I love that one ! The blue version. And now that they stopped making it 44mm, it should be wearable :)
Alpina certainly should get more respect as they produce some very nice watches with solid specs and design. Some really strong values out there on places like Jomashop on the brand.
