Shinola Runwell
Description
In 2011, a team arrived in Detroit with the idea of manufacturing quality products and producing jobs with no name in mind.
The story goes something like this... A discussion got heated about this nom de plume and one of the team member exclaimed "you don't know shit from Shinola" thus Shinola Detroit was born.
In 2012, the Shinola team created their headquarters in The College of Creative Studies within the historic Argonaut building and transformed 12,000 sf of spay into a watch factory.
In 2013, Shinola introduced a limited edition of a watch called the Runwell. It was such a success that the brand became synonymous with quality construction and American manufacturing.
